Interpreters and translators are feeling the economic effects of the global health emergency as conferences and meetings are being cancelled throughout the world.
A joint appeal issued by AIIC (International Association of Conference Interpreters), FIT (International Federation of Translators) and WASLI (World Association of Sign Language Interpreters) calls on authorities worldwide to consider the economic implications of the coronavirus on independent interpreters and translators.
