FIT Europe and the EU/DGT organized a Translating Europe Workshop titled “Translation and Interpreting in Crisis Settings” in Athens, in the EKDDA headquarters, on Friday, June 21.
One of the speakers who took the floor during the event was
Maria Petrocheilou, member of Assointerpreti and President of Sydise, the
Hellenic Association of Conference Interpreters.
The event, which was also broadcast live online, was attended by more than half of the Board members of FIT Europe, among whom Gabriella Suzanne Vanzan, also a member of the Governing Board of Assointerpreti.
Hopefully, the results of this workshop will lead to a more effective management of the challenges of multilingual communication in difficult contexts.
